Well, I bit the bullet and got a new "feeder" fish today. About 1" long,
with a black spot right in middle of the forehead and a little bit of black
on the dorsal fin and on the tail.

Still seems a little freaked out by the empty tank, but swimming around nice
and happily.

I lobbied for Spot, but DS likes the nickname BS. Kids!

Well, BS may end up being more appropriate; the black will almost
certainly go away. I was so dissapointed when my nicely-marked
black-and-gold fish turned plain gold... but it's all part of growing
up!

I was afraid of that; I'll have to get a picture before it all fades.
