I purchased 3 black mollies one month ago. One female has died on me and
now the second female is acting the same way as the deceased female. They
lay on the gravel at the bottom of the tank slowly moving their fins. Once
food is placed in the aquarium they will eat, but shortly thereafter, they
return to the bottom of the tank and just sit there. The male molly, on the
other hand, "patrols" the tank as usual. He seems to be doing just fine. I
also have Neon Tetras in this 10 gal tank and they are doing fine as well.
Any thoughts????? I have kept the water tested weekly and nothing is out of
the ordinary. I have the water slightly salinated and the temperature is
kept at 78 degrees as per instructed by the store professionals.
