I came down today to see that one of my goldfish is floating on his side.
The side that he's floating on, his eye is -really- bugged out.
What could have caused this? And how can I fix this? He's one of my oldest
fish :(

sounds like pop-eye wich is another form of dropsy, bacterial infection,
most likely brought on by poor water quality. what size tank and what are
the water parameters, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph? we need more info to
help. do a 25 percent water change as a precaution and be sure that the
water is dechlorinated and the same temp as the tank water.

I'm probably getting too cynical in my old age, but my guess would be you're
just sending this out to get traffic to your site...
If you have a chance, maybe send this to the goldfish group...
