Help please.
I've had a suspicion for a few weeks that a four year old fish isn't
too well. It seemed to have a film over its eyes (sort of whitish. We
dosed the pond with the requisite chemical - a parasite killer - and
though the eyes are slightly better, he/she now seems to have a
permanently open very round mouth with what looks like a white fungus
just inside it. I also think he's losing weight because I can see a
wasitline he didn't used to have For all the world the fish looks like
it's had a very poor lip/collagen injection. Does anyone recognise
this and, if I lift it out of the pond (where there are several other
fish who seem to be perfectly healthy), dip him in water with salt and
aspirin will this help?
Kind regards
Patrick
