It has been 2 weeks since all my goldfish fry hatched, and I am concerned
that they are not growing fast enough. I moved them into a half-filled 10
gallon where I do partial water changes every other day. I've followed
instructions on a website and fed them powdered boiled egg yolk. The fry
don't really eat it though, I don't see them swimming towards the food, they
sort of act like nothing happened when I add egg to the water. Right now
they are about 8 mm in length, and have an "hourglass" shape to them where
the slim mid-point is between the head and the swim bladder. Are my goldfish
fry too skinny and starving to death? A couple of days ago I found some dead
fry, and now I see a bunch floating at the surface, sort of sideways, but
they are still alive.
