kinda small, but may lead to being a refugium filter for your new 60-100
gallon tank if you embrace salt. clean it out with only water, rinse
everything good. if your adding any rock that you may have, use a scrub
brush and water to get any growth off of it. would recommend adding only
fresh live rock though having only a limited amount of space. i would buy
live sand for the bottom of your tank, about 1/1/2 inch? dont get crushed
coral, may end up being a pain. or use nothing but glass on bottom, or a
light sprinkle and get a large wet dry filter for your tank that will work
for a 60-100 gallon tank so you can use it when you expand, then fill one of
your filter basins with an inch or two of live sand. what you dont want it
a bunch of crushed coral on bottom of tank collecting fish food........
this info may give you an idea on how to get some bio going and keep a clean
tank. can also use algae scraper magnets to clean your tank, they work
good. rinse filters regularly, let bio set up on sand and rocks.
