JAVA FERN

Can anyone tell me at what stage plantlets realease themselves from Java
Fern, that is how big do they get before they weigh anchor.

I gently took mine off once they looked fairly big. A few inches is a
good size, I would think. Most survived, but I moved them to another tank,
too, so who's to say why the others didn't.
