Hi,
I have a red cap, he's perfectly well but he cant stay afloat, I think it
must be something to do with his swim bladder disabling him from being
bouyant, he can get to the top for food, but sinks quickly and bubbles come
out of his mouth.
he manages to feed off the bottom and sort of shuffles around like and old
man. He's been like this for about three months now, but does not seem to be
ill other than this strange affliction, all the other fish are fine.
Any ideas would be greatly received on how to remedy ( if at all possible )
this problem.
Regards Terry
what are your water quality parameters, ammonia, nitrites, nitrates and pH?
how many fish, how many gallons, how much and what kind of food do you feed him?
