I have just noticed an opaque growth over an eye of one of my comets it
doesnt seem to be affecting the fish ATM except obvious vision distortion.
I cant isolate the fish into my medi tank as it currently has some new born
fry and it would eat em they are still too small.
The only thing I could use is a bucket.
I have been doing regular water changes and water parameters seem ok
thanks for any advise

Ok further update I moved my fry into a 2L water bottle for the short term.
I moved my COmet into the meditank with a 80% water change.on closer
inspection it seams the other eye does also have the same groth but only
very slight.
I tried wiping it from one eye and it seems quite attached.
thanx scott

there is a slime coat over the eye like everywhere else. if the slime coat is thick
could be poor water conditions or parasite infestation. Ingrid
