In inches, multiple the tank's length by the width by the height and
divide this total by 231 to obtain US gallons.

Goldfish Paradise has a great little doodad in the utilities section
where you put in the dimensions of your tank and it tells you the
volume in metric, imperial and US gallons - along with weight and
recommended fish numbers and some other stuff.
