how long do common goldies spawn for?

Mine have been spawning non stop for 3+ months. They don`t seem to be
getting tired of it and i keep finding fry in unexpected places... Will it
hurt them to keep at it like this?

It seems to me like it would wear them out. I had some going at it
for about 6 months, but I think they were shooting blanks toward the
end. I got tired of watching them and put them back into the pond.

something I thought interesting, towards the end, the female would
come into heat, or whatever, about every four days. On the off days
she would pursue the males in the same manner they did her when she
was ready.

If the temp is kept consistant they will spawn less. Changes in temps helps to
brings on spawning.
