Necessary to quarantine fish from dealer?

Hello,

I am purchasing some fish from 2 dealers:
-Fish Sempa
-Goldfish Connection

Should I quarantine them before putting them in my tank? The dealers
both told me the fish have been in their hands for (at least) 2
months.

I would quarantine to be on the safe side!

Unless this dealer is extremley honest, responsible and overall great,
2 months is not necessarily 2 months to everyone, if you get what I
mean. I would quarentine to be safe.

Yes! Quarantine, and more than one week. Some fatal and contagious
conditions take a couple weeks to show up. Some on the list would
probably re4commend more time than that - good advice is worth taking.

a minimum one month. I am increasingly of the belief in "closed tanks" .. tanks
where new fish are no longer added cause they always seem to bring something nasty
