Live Rock supplier in Maryland

Hi all. After many years of freshwater aquaria, I'm finally taking my first
plunge into marine. I'm looking for reasonably-priced, decent quality live
rock (preferably pre-cured) in Maryland. I'm willing to drive just about
anywhere within an hour or two from the Frederick area.

I went to the mother of all stores around here, The Aquarium Center in
Randallstown and I wasn't too particularly impressed with their selection of
live rock. It looked to me more like "dead rock" with not a living plant or
animal to be found anywhere on it.

Anyone in the area know another decent supplier?

We bought rock from http://Marinedepotlive.com
They're having a special, 149.00 for 44 #'s Fiji live rock (includes 2 day
shipping). You can get it overnight for another $12.
We received it within 36 hours (more like 24).
It looked good. We're curing it now for our first reef tank.
Our first shipment arrived 3 days late, so we got a replacement.
Most visible life on LR dies off during curing and then recovers later.
Ours has sponge and hard coral life visible, but we think it will die off
before it's cured.
Scrubbing and removing die-off leaves uncured (pre-cured) rock looking
lifeless.
We live in Silver Spring MD and have found 5.99/# (on sale) for Fiji LR.
That's over $300 to start our 55G tank.
We will have 30-40#'s or more leftover from the 1st shipment, which we are
curing (anyway) now. It would classify as Fiji baserock, for lack of a
better term. It will do for a biological filter but will probably not have
any significant recovery of colorful growths etc (I could be wrong). When
the tank is set-up (3-4 weeks from now) whatever is left of the late
shipment will be giveaway. If you want some, we'll put your name at the top
of the list. It's free....
