Dear Mila,
You have my sympathy and condolences. I too lost a 14-year-old cat, my
beloved Pewee, also hit by a car, just about 4 years ago. I still miss her!
The only thing I can suggest, is to get another cat, from a kitten - not as
a replacement, but as a new companion. I found that after such a loss I
appreciated all my other pets even more.
Sincerely,
Tim

I know how you feel. My 13 year old dog passed away this morning. She
loved to follow us in the garden, eat the peas and dig up the carrots. Not
once did the Blue Herron visit when she was in the yard. She is very missed

Ohhh, Mila. I want to add my sympathy to the others. How
we love our babies!! I have cried rivers over my pets when
they leave ... Just remember she is waiting for you at
Rainbow Bridge ....

So sorry to hear of your loss. What a long and full life your dog shared
with you. And with a pond and garden to enjoy as well. Our dogs also eat
peas, and dig up carrots and radishes. My sympathies ...

My sympathy on the death of your dog. My old grey dog was 13 when she
crossed the Rainbow Bridge and I still miss her. I hope happy memories
will soon creep in and fill the void in your heart.

I'm not sure if anyone posted this link before, but for people who are
unfamiliar with the Rainbow Bridge, here's a link:
http://rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm (note that it is rainbows, plural).
Waiting to see some of my own furry babies across the Rainbow Bridge
(especially the cat-loving dogs & the toy-fetching cat),
