fry release!!

How should i release my fry into my pond.

i release the water temp change would be pretty big from my indoo
aquarium to the ponds.

should i place them in a large bowl of there normal water so the tem
change takes longer?

or shall i do that and try to make the tank water a bit cooler fiors
by doing my water change before they leave

I read somewhere :
Float in bowl for 15 mins.
Add pond water into bowl to double water volume. Float for 15 mins.
Release into pond.
