Poly Filters Re-usable?

I bought some poly filters and put them in my wet dry system and they turned
blue color (almost blue-green) Can I soak these in freshwater and re-use
them? Do they turn white again after soaking them?

Nope, they can't be reused. They turned blue by removing copper. Throw them
out. !!
