When the tads grow both sets of legs, the tail almost goes away, and
they crawl up on a rock or plant like a big boy, they get to go
outside in the "big" pond. At the rate of 1-3 per day starting
yesterday. The tads in the pond don't appear to have back legs yet and
are teeny compared to the house raised ones. 45 yrs. old and this is
the first time i ever got to watch the entire metamorphosis. I might
just dump the aquarium tomorrow into the pond instead of do a water
change on it. They *are* cute, though.

You can use a broken in half clay pot to be a toad house.

Make sure the toad is from your area before releasing it.
