Hi,

Can anyone recommend a sealer (and where to get it) for a new concrete lined
pond. I want to keep fish so it needs to be safe for them!

tia,

One of the products that a number of people on this newsgroup use is
Thoroseal and it is available at HD or Lowes. Be sure to get the acrylic
additive "Acryl 60" to help make it a waterproofing sealer. It needs
several days to dry and cure. Then rinse thoroughly and check the pH, then
rinse again and monitor the pH. The product is alkaline and if not
thoroughly cured and rinsed, can make the pH of the pond go up to well over
9. Of course concrete will do the same thing. There is also a product made
by Herco that is a liquid neoprene and it is available from Aquatic Eco.
