Too much powerhead?

I have a 29 gal FO tank. I've been getting too much of that blue/green
cyanobacteria and the LFS
guy suggested that I have poor water flow (all I have is a whisper wet
dry) I had an old PH, which
is rated for like 295gal/hr ... but it makes the fish look like they are
swimming in a river! Any
suggestions on an appropriate flow rate just to stir the water up a bit?

Hey, I've got that crap :P
I've got a fluval 304 and a aquaclear powerhead 402 on there..doesn't SEEM
to help the cyano...I'm told blasting them under metal halide lighting gets
rid of it...but we all can't afford that..

that PH IS FINE FOR YOU TANK in my 29 gallon i had a marineland
1140 thats huge compared to you 295gph.

I have a 30 gallon with a 295 and a110 and the fish love it the water flow.
As long as you have enough rock in there for them to be able to get out of
heavy current when they want then they will be happy.
