I recently posted a request for help with Flukes and would like to thank all
those that helped me out - the problem is gone - I think. However, on
waking up this morning I found I have a one year old koi doing spirals in
the centre of my pond. He seems to be bent slightly sideways and just
swimming round in tight circles. I can't see any signs of anything
physically wrong.
Any ideas please.
TIA

It could be anchor worm
Examine the scales and look for a raised bump with a1/2in greyish tube
hanging from it.

Buy a treatment of dab the parasite with paraffin , remove with teasers and
treat wound with antiseptic.

Fish louse can also cause erratic swimming But fish will be rubbing itself
on sides of pond.

Swim bladder problems can cause this. as can lack of oxygen. The fish will
also swim like this if it is dying.
