Hey all, I'm in charge of animal care for a neuroscience lab in which we
house lots of aquatic tiger salamanders. We keep them in 30-gallon
tanks, and we're thinking about switching from out-of-tank filters to
in-tank filters, the kind that clips on to the outside.
Does anybody have any suggestions for filters for tanks of that size?
We don't have tons of money to blow, but we do have some freedom
price-wise. They need to be reliable and be able to handle 30-gallon
tanks. We've been using old Marineland Magnum filters for about ten years.
