Does anyone know if shubunkins eat/kill plants? I am having a terrible
time keeping plants in my pond. It is indoors, approx 300 gallons, 78
degree temp, with three (well fed) shubukins. Seems like they chew at the
base of the plant stems. However, I have never caught them "in action",
perhaps plants dont do well in my pond?

Start feeding them a daily helping of thawed frozen peas, otherwise, yes,
in an indoor pond the plants can't grow as fast as a veggie starved
goldfish can eat them. ;o) ~ jan
