View Full Version : Replacement hinge for my hood

I have a three year old 46 gallon bow-front freshwater tank with a
glass hood. The last time I cleaned the tank, the hood hinge broke.
It seems silly to buy a new hood when all I need is 35" of what seems
to be a pretty generic snap-on plastic hinge. Where can I find such
a part? I've searched both high and low to no avail (actually, I've
searched low and middle, but I think you get the idea). Perhaps I
shouldn't limit my question to aquarium-related groups, but I'm not
sure who else to ask. Suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Oceanic sells these strips by the foot or in 4 or 5' lengths. Any other
manufacturer's will do as well if it fits the glass's thickness, but I
believe the 46g bow is from Oceanic.
