75 gallon FOWLR w/20g sump\'fuge
60lbs LR
seaclone100 skimmer
160w N.O. flourescent

I was watching the choc star in my fuge today eat a hunk of halibut I
fed it, and spotted against the front glass what appeared to be the
foor of a snail. It looked odd, however, and was near the surface, so
I decided to reach over the egde and give it a poke. It wasn't a
snail. It had a shell, though it was flat, no more than 1/4" surface
to top. about 1/2 in diameter, and it moved FAST, moving out of sight
in seconds. The foot was pale beige, didn't get a look at the shell.
Some kind of abalone, hitch-hiker on the LR that's managed to avoid
my discovery for almost a year?

Sounds like a limpet or more likely a Stomatella mollusk.

I still have new things turn up in my tank after a couple of years.
