It is safe to remove the leaves that are turning yello/brownish...getting
holes in them..etc. Just take a sharp pair of scissors and snip the leaf
off as close to the rosette(base) as you can. If you prune "good" leaves
off, be careful not to prune too many at once or you could kill your sword.
