Paradise fish - compatibility

Has anyone successfully kept Paradise fish with other species? I think that
this fish is awesome and I would like to keep it, however I would like to
have also other species with it. Can you recommend any suitable mates?

I've kept paradisefish with smaller and more mobile fish without trouble.
Also with bottom dwellers. The probability of trouble is very much
dependant on the size of the tank, sex ratios and their personalities.
Their lineage with Bettas is certainly there when they want it to be ;~)

My daughter keeps hers with white cloud's and weather loaches in her
unheated tank. Seems that they prefer their water a little on the cool
side (doing better than it did in my tropical tank) and he does not
bother any of his room mates. Hope this helps.
