fish piling rocks

I have a tropical fish an lately it has been piling rocks and moving them
all over the place can any one tell me why this fish is doing this
I can't remember what kind of fish this is but it has strips and they come
in different color , and are very aggressive and can't live with other fish

ermm Pat, can u be more specific in the appearances of this fish
because there r loads of fish with stripes n that r aggressive. what's
the fish's size? and can't live w/other fish? why can it not live
w/other fish n who told u that that's the case. ermmm i guessing it's
a tiger barb? or if its big, has stripes n agrressive - a Siamese
Tigerfish? i dont really know what ur case is. n also this is a
Goldfish forum so maybe try a tropical fish forum. ok

Cichlids do this as a part of getting ready to spawn. They make pits
to house the babies in. Does he have a partner? Is it an African
Cichlid tank?
