Hey guys, I was thinking how many times we see things and wonder what they are
called, so I've been working on an ID page for my site. These are all creatures
in my tanks; pictures that I've taken. As I acquire more, the page will be
updated.
If you see any errors on my part, please feel free to let me know and I'll make
the corrections.

Awesome page, Marc, kudos.
Can I make one, small, technical suggestion? In your html source,
replace all of your 'alt="<name>"' with 'title="<name>"' (it's a matter
of minor technicalities, but title="" does what you want across more
browsers... in fact, if you want it to work on the *max* number of
browsers, instead of replacing the alt="<name>", just add a
title="<name>"...)
But, like I said, beauty page...

Okay, I can make that change. I've been getting help from a few sources to make the
page better and better, and at the same time I'm learning tons. So alt is out, and
name is in, eh? Didn't know that. Oh.... so you are saying use both in each. Got
it.

Actually, it's not a matter of being in or not, it's what the attributes
mean...
ALT: alternate text to be displayed if the image can't be reached or for
browsers that don't use images (ie/ text browsers, browsers for the
visually impared...)
TITLE: text for a simple pop-up.
The fact that IE (and earlier versions of Netscape, I think) display alt
text as a pop-up is great, but not all browsers (read: newer versions of
Netscape, any version of Mozilla) do that...
HTH :-)
