my beloved male guppy, sonny jr., is almost always constipated. he
looks all inflated and with half of his tail gone (or should i say
bitten off) it makes him look funny. well last night i saw him
actually pooping for once. the the poop was huge in diameter! i felt
bad for the poor guy. i put lettuce in the tank last week and no one
seemed to eat it, so i took it out last night. is there anything else
i can help poor sonny jr. with so he can pass his stools regularly?
haha, sounds funny... but i feel bad for him!
ok, thanks :)

A bit of Epson salt in the water, feed much less (in quantity and in
richness). This is a common problem for adult male Guppies.

yeah, i think perhaps i feed too much during feeding times and sonny
jr. seems to be the one trying to eat the most. what a pig! thanks
for the suggestion :)

Danya, you know, it's common for most aquarists, so actually fast the fish
every so often... it actually is a good thing, because, daily feedings can
back up the system.... fasting can allow time for the fishy to get clean and
empty the tank so to speak....
Try it...
