Hi all,
Got a nice little 2 foot tank set up with bristlenoses and a seperate
guppy fry containment net.
Was running a small fluval 1 internal power filter but it seems to
clog up about every third day. With the smallest amount of slime
blocking it off.
So today i bought a brand new Weipro TC-800 internal power filter
It seems to be quite good with the air bubbles attatchmen really
jeting out the water and bubbles.
I'll keep you posted as to how well it works?
Has anybody out there had any experiences with Weipro and what where
your thoughts would you recommend them.
So far with my first impressions it seems pretty damn good with a
couple of filter sponge compartments which to one of them i have added
some activated carbon..
Any opinions greatly appreciated
Cheers
Brett

Well i've had the weipro tc-800 cannister filter3 days now
and already have had it block up 3 times with very little sludge on
the bottom sponge and very little water flow thru..
I't works fine once i remove the slime but the filter sponge potential
its getting clogged at least one percent of the filters surface area.
Strange and quite frankly cleaning my filter every day doesn't appeal
to me so today i went and bought somemore sponge with abit more air in
it and am trying them it seems to be working great now with the new
sponge.
But like i say i only changed it today so lets see how long the filter
will be effective for.
I'll post again to let you know if its made much differece.
All other experiences recommendations or opinions greatly appreciated.
