I recently heard there were some plants for sal****er that could help remove
Nitrates from the water. Does anyone have any information about this. I
seem to have a consistent high Nitrate problem.
Thanks

The only "plant" that would help would be mangroves. I figure you
heard about macroalgae.

Best set up in a sump or 'fuge, as most aquarium inhabitants will
eat, if not simply tear it up, IME.

you could have the sump set up as a refugium and plant it with calerpa and
other plants such as mangroves. i have been told that mangroves set up very
slowly and for set up with speed then calerpa or another microalgae.

Using any algae will help you absorb any nutrient. This is not the way to
tackle your problem by using bandaid unless you purposely want to do this
way.
First is to combat algae is what or source(s) causing this nitrate nutrient.
Then use the correct method of removing it.
Now, what filteration system do you have?
