Low PH High dKH

Hi

I seem to be getting the unusual behaviour of low PH and high dKH

600 litre tank using RO water

PH 7.9 - 8
dKH 18
Calc 420
nitrate Very low
Salinty 1.023
Temp does fluctuate a bit with avg of 79F

Running with a Deltec Calc reactor and Protein skimmer.

I was under the impression that low dKH resulted in low PH and vice versa.

Any thoughts ?

turn your co2 on your reactor down
or grow more algae
