Not very relevant to the current discussion. Any tropical aquarist would
tell you that a sharp drop in temperature almost always leads to Ick, and
also that Ick is virtually never a problem in otherwise healthy fish.

same thing in koi and goldfish. sharp drop leads to ich. Ingrid
