Recently, for my son's 13th birthday (September 17), he got four
goldfish from a friend. One died immediately. The other four found a
new home in two separate small bowls. The next day the second died and
this past Tuesday the third died.

I have moved the fourth to a new proper fishbowl on Wednesday, and he
seems a little stunned at first. He is just now coming around.

Anyway, I was curious how do I keep this one alive? I have never had a
goldfish. I am not sure when to feed it, how or when to clean its
bowl, etcerta. Does anyone out there have any good tips on how to take
care of my son's goldfish?

Do you de-chlorinate the water? If not, that maybe the reason your Gold Fish
dies.
To keep it in the bowl, you have to change the water every 2-3 days, since
it don't have filtering system. Feed him very little, once a day a small
pinch of flakes or maybe some other food.

Goldfish shouldn't live in bowls period!
