Ok, really its a crayfish but there you go, and really not problems as such
with him but more with his behaviour.
Got him last friday and hes settled well into a 25g tank with 4 Zebra danios
in it.
Now i know that they are scavanger / hunters and that they will go for the
vegitation in the tank if hungry so ive been feeding him one cube of frozen
food every 2 days as per instructions at LFS.
But this morning ive got up and he's been busy massacaring my plants
overnight the little bugger.
So, anyone here got any tips at all?
I have read that you can feed them things like veg etc so ive popped in half
a raw new potato which hes currently munching away on :-)
But any other tips?

Unfortunatley, the only real 'fix' is to either remove the cray or
remove the plants. I've tried them a few times, because they're just
so darn cool, and always end up bringing them back due to their
aggressiveness or destructiveness.

Im hoping to keep him well fed on potatoes, carrot and peas etc and see how
he goes, will probably get him some sinking pellets too, so hopefully he'll
settle down more.

I have 3 in a trigon with large goldfish @ room temp. I let them have plec

there little cave/territory and are a hoot!

Unfortunatly there is nothing you can do about the plants. That is what they

A crayfish tank is dark, without plants and without fishes. It has a lid
which even a strong animal can not lift, as otherwise he will take a
stroll through your home - to his own destruction. It houses a single
animal. Supply some rocks for him to build a home, but don't do it for
him, as he will undo your carefully crafted work and have his own way.
Sorry, but that's the nature of these critters, you either take it or
leave it.
If you want something to keep with plants and fishes, use shrimps
instead.

Yes, pour in some ketchup. Plain potatoes are gross.
