I currently have a 38Gal tank partially stocked.

I am looking for some ideas of which/how many fish I could add.

Here are my specs and current residents;

Tank: Allglass 38gal
Filter: Emperor 280 (biowheel)
Heater: Ebo Jager 150w

Temp: 24
pH: 7.0
Hardness: 40ppm

Fish: Platies (3 adult, 3 fry), Black Neons (8), Siamese Algae Eater
(1)
Plants: Cardamine, Wisteria

It was suggested that I add a few Puntius pentazona, but I find them a
little dull . Was hoping to add something more interesting, maybe
Gouramis??

Tks.

You could add a pair of dwarf gouramis with no problem. Or look at
some rainbow fish. Many stay small enough to be happy in a 38 and do
well in a community setup.

Dwarf gourami's are good but I wouldn't get more than two. What about
Angelfish (babies though because I heard that bigger one can eat your
smaller fish).

We have a group of Silver-tip tetras with some Cory's (bottom
dwellers...look like little catfish)!!

What about Tigerbarb's. I'm not sure but they may be ok in a community
tank...anyone else know?

Tiger barbs are aggressive, and should not be mixed with angelfish.
