View Full Version : will this hurt my fish?

I've just put a rubber jelly fish in my cold water tank. Sounds naff I know
but it's about 2" wide, is connected to what looks like fishing line with a
false rock on the end. Made in the US by Max. It undulates with the current
but also my littlies love it because it gives them a place to hide under
right near in the middle of the tank (it's a square tank).

My only concern is whether my celestial and fantail could damage themselves
on the fishing line going up the tank. Opinions please?

While there is a chance of them doing this why not get some colored
line instead.

The chance is small but better safe than sorry. Goldfish do not
normally move really fast.
After a while they will get used to the line and navigate around it
anyway
