Dear all,
I have a volitans lionfish in a 400 litre tank and he has started tonight
going red in colour around his face and front gills and going pale at the
back. He seems to be breathing heavily and is sitting on the bottom of the
substrate.
He is eating well and has been fed live river (ghost shrimps) this evening.
I contacted my local fish store and they claimed it was the pH, this seems
to be about 8.0 - 8.3, however I have added some pH buffer to the tank.
Does anyone have any ideas? I really dont want to lose this fish.
