Hi all ,

I have pH between 6 to 6.5 .
What is the ideal pH for all Freshwater fishes ?
Any suggestion is much appreciated.

There isn't really an ideal pH for ALL freshwater fishes as african type
cichlids for example usually like higher pH around 7.5-8 and american types
around 7. However 6.5-7.0 should be fine for most. Ask your LFS what their
water parameters are. What sort of fish do you have or are getting? Discus,
tetras, bristlenose? You might want to check with your LFS your
KH(carbonate hardness) of your water as low pH's(6), usually mean a very low
KH as well which can cause pH swings in smaller tanks. You can use pH up or
baking soda(sodium bicarbonate) to raise both pH and KH. Just do it very
gradually though.

Thank for your response .
I have 2 tank , one tank with all cichlids and another tank with
goldfish.
My KH is 10 . pH is 6 to 6.5

It also depends on which kind of cichlids. Discus and angels are cichlids
too.
