TSA's Next live rock harvesting trip from the Florida Keys to Ohio and
Michigan begins mid November '04! This is the only live rock you can get
that's never been out of the water until you receive it. The biodiversity is
astounding, use it to start a new system or jump start an existing tank.
TerraSubAqua, Florida Keys-Atlantic Ocean aquaculture specializes in LIVE
rock that's been basking in the crystal clear Keys Gulf Stream water for
years, attracting all sorts of life. We have beautiful peach and pink
coquina substrate with vividly colored pink-purple-blue coralline algae,
coral, bryozoans, fire-red sponge, tunicates, tube worms, spiny oyster
and other inverts. Also have arrow crabs, banded coral shrimp, small
conchs, coral snails, flame scallops, brittle stars, cleaner shrimp,
decorator crabs, hermits, and occasional urchins, etc., that hitch a FREE
ride and survive with our TLC handling.
Our 'secret'; ground delivery is best, keep cool, well aerated and submerged
at all times including at harvest. This is very difficult, no one else does
it, but it maximizes survival of the biodiversity and NO CURING is needed:
most folks stock the display/sales tank directly with negligible losses.
This is a light-density clam and shrimp shell sedimentary rock, NO
phosphate, a form of Aragonite that's quite porous, with some flat pieces
good for wall building, holes for mounting corals, nooks, crannies and
serpentine caves for hideouts.
Since we live in Ohio, we do drop-offs anywhere along I-75, also along I-95
in GA and SC, I-26 in SC and NC, and I-40 in NC and TN. We deliver FREE if
you are en route.
50 lbs. minimum order, $3.95/ lb. wholesale.
Check the web site, and let us know if you are interested. Rock the vote!
