Hello fishy folks.
While I was on the phone with the Naperville, Illinois PetLand asking whether
or not they carried pygmy Cories.....the lady mentioned to me that their entire
fish order (it was fish day) was sent to New Jersey. Somehow the airline made a
huge screw up. The lady needed to ask the guy who does the fish ordering about
the Pygmies and I could here him on another phone line talking with the airline
and chewing them out. She told me all those fish are going to die.
I don't know if Monday is a freshwater day or a Marine shipment day, but either
way I feel bad for all those fish.
I'll probably be heading there tomorrow looking for a new Crowntail male Betta.
What a bummer.

Well, fish are often tougher than we give them credit for. There's a
chance some will survive. I hope so, since I hate to see such an
excellent fish store take that kind of a hit.

I wonder who is responsible for the cost of the loss in this event?

Some fish I ordered from California were sent to Kentucky while the
Kentucky order was sent to me. The next day the fish I received were
picked up and the next day I got a phone call saying the fish were
fine. Another time, a Christmas part timer couldn't find my house and
she kept the fish overnight and only delivered them after I called the
local agent and he told her where to find me. Again the fish were
fine.
