I have a 75 gal tank with 50 LBS of LR. The tank is over a year old and IM
not having any problems with it. I wanted to added more LR and was
wondering, how much rock can I add at a time without dire consequences? I
know I have to watch the ammonia levels; would 10 lbs be too much?

The amount of rock you add is not important. What dioes matter is whether
you are adding cured or uncured rock. If you are adding cured rock (from
LFS) then add away. If you are adding uncured, you will be basically cycling
your tank. Obviously make sure no life is in the tank (fish , inverts)
before you add. Allow 3-4 weeks for rock to cure.

good luck.
