What can I substitute for Medicated food ?

I have tried all of New Zealand for Medicated or antibiotic fish food.
Nothing !
Can I make my own....what can I use to make it.
I was thinking of soaking the pellets in something.
Suggestions as my vail goldfish is in a very bad way with dropsy....looking
like a balloon and its eyes look they are about to pop out.
Yep have done everything as suggested so far.
Water in quaranteen bucket...changed everyday.
a little epson salts.
Well airated.
Its been 4 days so far.

is the heat up to 84oF? it takes 6-14 days for dropsy to resolve. keep going.

Yes Still no change...set at 84 deg in fact I had one fantail die.
Still have the vail tail.
I used Methylene Blue initially just incase there was parasites.
I have been in touch with a vet, have recieved a broad spectrum antibiotic
amoxyline.
I will mix this with the fishfood.
