If you repley to the political posts they will stay. If you want to
comment on the Elections you can go to a political NG. If you bring up
Political posts here you are a troll.

political newsgroups are too mean and nasty, unlike this fish group. safer to talk
politics here. Ingrid

Then this group will turn mean and nasty. I certainly do not agree with
you on politics but I come here for the aquaria. I do not wish to to see
political posts in the Aquaria newsgroups. thats why there are different
ones. If you keep on replying, then you will tear this group down,
others will come that have no interest in aquaria and the flghting will
begin.

actually I am on several lists and a couple other newsgroups where we discuss
politics every so often and it doesnt tear the group apart. reasonable people can
discuss anything without getting abusive while unreasonable people cant discuss
anything without being abusive... even GF. Unreasonable people need to be killfiled
or go on a "no response list". Ingrid

Acutally I would have to disagree with you. You replied to a troll that
has posted in every aquaria newsgroup. SOme of the newsgroup did the
smart thing and didn't reply.

By your statement then other topics can be up for discussion other than
politics. And those other topics should be welcomed every so often
without a reminder that this is a goldfish NG.

I can start rigt here. I was wondering about Swish and Koolmoves
animation programs, does anyone knwo the difference between to the two?
Is Swish uder friendly with alot of templates? Is Swish easier than
koolmoves if you are a beginner? I have koolmoves and am thinking of
buying swish.

I Have hash animation and I think it is as good as flash mx. Anyone like
Flash MX more than Hash?

Absolutely. other topics are up for discussion and personalize each other. I am on
groups where I ask help with off topic subjects because I do know the expertise is
there because somebody went off topic in the past. for example the old home list I
am on has quite a few computer experts. Ask, and if it is of interest to people on
this list, they may respond and I know how to use the delete button. Ingrid

Well considering this post is limited to the goldfish group you won't
find such an argument. I guess all our fishes must march right out of
there cave or house and stick that Kerry Or Bush in their front gravel
or sand! Oh yeah right, some of the goldfish will have to put a suction
cup on the bottom of the sign for their front glass lawn! And we better
make sure other aquariums near by don't steal the signs. I wonder... Oh
yeah my aquarium live in a blue state , but voted red..hmm now their
tanks won't be cleaned once a week awwwwww! Wait they have anticipated
this.. and have a TCF. <Tank Cleaning Fund> .........

Agreed. I've sometimes asked off-topic questions in the woodworking
group because it's a large group and there's one or two folks on it that
are expert in almost anything. Always got a good answer (or several).

And boy, do they talk politics :-). Some do object, but the general
consensus is that if you put "OT" in the header, those who don't like it
can filter it out.

As someone said, if you often visit a group of people who share a common
interest, is that interest the only thing you ever talk about? Highly
doubtful :-).

In case the spelling police shows up I will repost.

As I noticed that Ingrid just put in the OT in the subject line in just
her last post BTW and the orginal post was made by a troll in all the
aquaria ng to cause trouble. As I noticed in the past of people asking
not to feed the troll. I seperated the post so that a cross post feud
would not start. My Mistake. Ingrid was replying to a troll and others
asked not to feed the troll, other regular posters might I add, there no
regard or OT put in any subject until just right now.

My schooling fish and bottom feeders all voted for Kerry while the
aggressives all voted for Bush...

The goldies split their vote and haven't spoken to each other since.

And one odd clownfish voted for Nader...

I wonder what it all means?
