I'm thinking of adding a Knop calcium reactor to my 180 gallon reef setup
(Have approx 350 lbs. of live rock). I'm wondering how many people are
using them....advice? horror stories?, etc....

TIA

not using a knop but enjoy the one I have makes life much easier

the one thing you need, is a GOOD regulator with a GOOD needle valve if you buy a "KIT"
then IME it probibly wont have a good one, places like to skimp there because you cant see
the difference until you use it.

I don't have a Knop but a generic one. I had lots of trouble getting
adjustment to stay, despite having a good quality regulator and needle
valve. I had PH issues and the the calc and alk got out of alignment. Fought
this until I went through the first tank of CO2. While waiting to get the
tank refilled I noticed my water levels returned to a stable, normal level.
That was 3 months ago. I currently am just circulating the water through the
reactor / media and getting along fine.
