I have a 29G tank in which there is 20 lb LR and 40 lb LS. And I added 30 lb
dry rock to make it to LR three weeks ago.
The problem is that dry rock is being covered by green algae not coralline
algae. How can I treat this green algae except reducing light.

Thanks.

Good circulation current flow and effecient Protein Skimmer.

He didn't specify if it was Green nuisance algae or green coralline
algae.
You're probably right in assuming it's green nuisance algae but I've known
people to get upset when green coralline is not what they wanted.

In my experience all my maroon, pink, purple coralline algaes seem to
have been preceded by a green algae that is of the consistency of
coralline type algae. Sometimes the it is a bright green, sometimes a
lime color and sometimes a darker green color. Give it some time.

Any type of algae will need to be attach to somewhere to anchor itself to
grow. Using good circulation and protein skimmer should take care of any
algae growth. Assumed algae got a foot hold on something, but with good
circulation, nutrient will be low that it able to intake for growth. This
where janitoral crew come in place. Crab / snail / shrimp or even fish
should graze on it to keep it in check. Algae will never go away completely.
