Little anecdote for you.
I stopped by my uncle's house the other day, and naturally, talk
drifted to his 30 gallon reef. He's rather clueless, sadly, and
couldn't wait to show me the fabulous anemones that just sprang up on
his LR. As soon as he said this, I knew, and my fears were confirmed.
In this 30 gallon tank, with 30lbs LR, there are nearly 2 dozen
aiptasia, some of them 5 inches tall with crowns 3 inches accross. I
gently suggested he at least remove the ones near his BTA.
