QuickCure Affect Biofilter?

What's the verdict on malachite green/formalin remedies like Quickcure
and Rid-Ich+? Do they kill the biofilter or not? I'm in a situation
where I need to use it, but I don't want to kill my biofilter in the
process. -thanks

not an established biofilter. that is, one that is older than 4 months or so.
