We have heard a lot about places not to order from.... what are some of your
favorite places to order different things from?

I missed the original thread, but my favorite place to order drygoods
from so far is Premium Aquatics. The staff is helpful and the shipments
arrive promptly. In my case, everything arrives in two days or less via
UPS, due to the proximity of Indiana to North Carolina.

I have yet to order livestock from them, but will do that for my next
round of purchases.

I have ordered livestock (mostly inverts) from Coral Dynamics and
recommend them as well.

Drygoods: Marine Depot, Premium Aquatics.
Live Rock: TerraSubAqua
Animals: Sal****er Warehouse (a store in Dayton, OH. They have a web
site but it's not all that interesting.)

I've ordered dry goods, fish, corals, and all my live rock from Premium
Aquatics. I live close enough to get UPS ground service delivered the next
day, which saves a ton in shipping cost. Everything I've ever ordered I
received the next day and has been packaged great. I ordered a MH ballast
once, they called and said they were out of stock and offered a better
ballast at a discounted price. They shipped it before I had paid for it so
I would still receive it the next day.

The corals, fish and the live rock were package great. Every thing looks
super still. There weren't any corals growing on the live rock, but I do
have at least seven different macro algae growing on it. Plus loads of pods
and snails.
