View Full Version : Sick Torch Coral

Hey,

My torch coral seems to be dying off one head at a time, seemingly
'catching' something from the previous head since it is going in order.
At this point, two heads are completely gone and a third is not doing
so well from just last night. I do not think I would be able to cut the
newly 'infected' head off as it is to closely attached to the others.
My water from what I have tested should be fine, sal 1.024, cal 460, alk
norm, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrite < 10, tmp 78.7, phosphates 0....
Everything else in the tank is a-ok. Yellow polyps, candy coral, green
hairy mushroom and various other zoo-polyps, shrimp, clowns etc...
I was just wondering if anyone would have any ideas as to what this
could be or if anyone has experienced this kind of thing with torch
corals? Any suggestions on saving the other heads would be appreciated!
